SWC Schools will be hosting a benefit for Rachel and Michael Prins on Saturday, January 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the high school campus - 550 Elizabeth St. Rachel, head cook at the SWC High School and Spring Play Director/Co-Director at both the elementary and high school campuses, has had two surgeries since school began. The first was to remove a cancerous tumor from her kidney and the most recent to remove a fibroid tumor and cyst. To help Rachel and Michael with expenses, both medical and time away from work, the SWC family is hosting the Burger Drive-through event. Burgers with all the fixings, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, and a homemade bar will be on the menu for a free-will donation in support of Rachel and Michael. The meal will not be assembled in advance in case you want to enjoy the meal later in the day or for a Sunday afternoon meal.
